Who can buy Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance?
Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance is available to passengers who are:
a) Traveling for thirty (30) days or less
b) 70 years old and below
Are you traveling with an infant? Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance extends free coverage to an infant if traveling with an insured adult. Please refer to our full terms and conditions to learn more about Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurances' free coverage for infants.
When does my Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance coverage begin and end?
Your Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance coverage start and end date depends on the type of trip you're taking.
For Round-trip Flights
Your Airphil Express Worry-Free Travel Insurance coverage begins two (2) hours before your Airphil Express flight departure flight and ends upon your return to your originating airport.
For One-way Flights
Your Airphil Express Worry-Free Travel Insurance coverage begins two (2) hours before your Airphil Express flight and ends upon your arrival at the destination airport.
Please note that the Trip Cancellation benefit is effective upon the approval of your application and successful payment of premium.

Personal Accident – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will provide you or your loved ones a lump sum cash payment of up to PHP 1,000,000 if you suffer a serious or fatal accident while traveling.
Emergency Medical Expense & Assistance – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will cover your medical bills of up to PHP 1,000,000 if you require medical assistance due to an accident or a serious illness* while you are traveling.
Our medical benefits also include: Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance brings you home to your loved ones or the nearest best-of-class hospital facility if you get into a serious accident or illness while traveling.
* Sickness Coverage is only available for non-domestic travel.
Follow-up Treatment – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will also take care of your medical bills (up to 10% of your Medical Expense Benefit) if you require follow-up treatment at home if you suffer a serious accident or illness while traveling.
Compassionate Visit & Child Guard – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance arranges and takes care of bringing a family member to your side if you are hospitalized during your trip.
Travel Inconvenience – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance allows you not to sweat the usual travel worries.
Travel Delay – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance financially compensates you if your Airphil Express flight is re-scheduled for more than 6 hours.

Loss or Damage of Personal Baggage – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance pays for the loss of, or damage to, your baggage while you are traveling on Airphil Express Flights.
Baggage Delay – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will reimburse you for clothing and amenities you purchase if your baggage is delayed for more than 12 hours.
Loss of Travel Documents – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will cover the additional hotel accommodation, travel and communication expenses required to replace your lost travel document.
24-hour Emergency Assistance – Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance is available 24/7 to lend a helping hand. Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance is only a phone call away to assist you with any medical emergency you may encounter abroad.
Does Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance cover me if I get sick while I am traveling?
Yes, Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance will take care of you if you suffer an illness while traveling outside the Philippines.

What should I do if I didn't receive my Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance confirmation?
Don't worry! You don't need to bring a copy of your Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance confirmation on your trip. All you need is your Policy Number and our 24-hour Emergency Assistance Number (+632) 878-1290.

I just updated my flight booking with Airphil Express, how can I make changes to my Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance policy?
After you have made a change to your Airphil Express flight booking, please don't forget to contact us to make the corresponding changes to your Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance policy. I have decided to postpone or cancel my trip, can I also cancel my Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance policy?
Sorry, Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance is a non-cancellable, non-refundable policy. But don't fret! Your Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance policy is not wasted. You can still use your Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance policy the next time you travel within a six (6) month period.

How do I file for a Claim?
To file a claim, you can download our Notice of Claim Form online and follow the simple and detailed instructions for the benefit you would like to make a claim against.
Does Airphil Express Worry-Free travel insurance enforce a deadline for filing a claim?
Yes, you have to notify Chartis of your claim no later than thirty (30) days from the date of the claimable event.
How long does it take to process my Claims?
Chartis Philippines will process your claims within fifteen (15) working days following the receipt of all necessary supporting documents.
